Call2Recycle® offers free rechargeable battery and cell phone collection and recycling program to consumers, retailers, businesses and municipalities in the province of Manitoba.
Consumers can drop off their cell phones and rechargeable batteries weighing less than 5 kg each at any of the Call2Recycle collection sites. There is no charge for recycling.

If yes, please submit the Sign Up Form to become a registered collection site. There is no cost to participate in the Call2Recycle program.
Will all household batteries be required for recycling in the province of Manitoba?
On February 3, 2010, the Manitoba provincial government proposed rules which would require collecting and recycling all consumer batteries. The proposed effective date of this regulation is April 1, 2011.
Call2Recycle presented at the Manitoba Household Hazardous Waste stewardship program public consultation event in Winnipeg, MB on June 21, 2010. An All-Battery Collection and Recycling Plan for Manitoba drafted by Call2Recycle was submitted shortly after the event to the Pollution Control Branch of Manitoba Conservation.
