Materials Accepted for Recycling

The Call2Recycle^® program accepts the following items for recycling:

cellphones (and their batteries):

• All types of cellphones are accepted regardless of size, make, model or age.

Batteries (weighing less than 5 kg each):

• Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd )
• Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH)
• Lithium Ion (Li-Ion)
• Nickel Zinc (Ni-Zn)
• Small Sealed Lead (SSLA/Pb)
• Single-use alkaline (In Manitoba and British Columbia)
  

Please note that program participants are not required to sort these materials prior to shipping.
