The Call2Recycle® program accepts the following items for recycling:
cellphones (and their batteries):
- All types of cellphones are accepted regardless of size, make, model or age.
Batteries (weighing less than 5 kg each):
- Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd )
- Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH)
- Lithium Ion (Li-Ion)
- Nickel Zinc (Ni-Zn)
- Small Sealed Lead (SSLA/Pb)
- Single-use alkaline (In Manitoba and British Columbia)
Please note that program participants are not required to sort these materials prior to shipping.
