In 2011, Call2Recycle Canada, Inc. was appointed by Manitoba Conservation and Water Stewardship as the official battery stewardship program (collecting and recycling consumer batteries) in the province. As required by the government, we are submitting a five-year (2017 – 2021) renewal plan for review and approval.
As part of the plan review process, we are undergoing consultations with stakeholders and the general public prior to submission of the plan to the government in May 2016. We are inviting you to participate in the consultation process by reviewing the renewal plan here and submitting your comment(s) to MBPlan@call2recycle.ca.
We hosted a webinar session on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. ET. This was an opportunity to learn more about the Call2Recycle plan, and to make comments or ask questions. Please click here to access the recording of the webinar.
We value your participation in the consultation process and your feedback is important. Call2Recycle is proud to work with the community and the government of Manitoba to keep batteries out of landfills and is committed to furthering sustainability.
Thank you for your continued support.Share
