Alberta Updates – FAQ: Alberta Private Closures

Why are you closing private collection sites in Alberta?

Call2Recycle is restructuring our battery collection program in Alberta to support the long-term sustainability of our organization. We have operated a not-for-profit collection program that has been funded voluntarily in Alberta since 1997. We therefore made the difficult decision to close the majority of our private collection sites, and focus our program on select public-facing collection facilities.
