PROGRAM UPDATE
Prince Edward Island (PEI) has recently included primary and rechargeable batteries into its Environmental Protection Act Materials Stewardship and Recycling Regulations. As required, Call2Recycle submitted its battery stewardship plan, and has received approval as the official primary and rechargeable battery stewardship program.
